What was slowing things down
Every customer enquiry needed a person to answer it, from simple product questions to placing an order.
Each order then had to be typed into a Google Sheet by hand, which took time, slowed down replies and left room for mistakes.
What was built
An AI agent in Telegram answers customers' questions from the shop's own information, in Malay or English, and takes their orders in the same conversation. It checks live stock in a Google Sheet menu, so it never offers sold-out items and suggests alternatives instead.
Before anything is recorded, the agent shows the customer the items, total and date, and only places the order once they confirm. Confirmed orders are written straight into Google Sheets with an order ID, so the team only steps in when a human is really needed.
