What was slowing things down
Staff kept asking HR the same questions about leave, claims, hybrid work and overtime, even though the answers were already in the handbook.
The handbook was long and spread over several documents, so finding the right rule took time, and answers given from memory weren't always consistent.
What was built
An AI assistant searches the company's own policy documents and answers only from what it finds, in English or Malay. Every fact is cited, and one click opens the policy with the exact section highlighted, so staff can check the source themselves.
It follows the conversation, so follow-up questions like "how many in total then?" combine earlier facts with new ones. If the handbook doesn't cover a question, it says so and points staff to HR instead of guessing.
